Over recents years, since 2011, North Somerset Athletic Club has organised a major charity event to generate funds for the development of the club and its facilities, as well as supporting Children’s Hospice South West.
The 24-hour relay marathon around the Grand Pier at Weston-super-Mare has raised tens of thousands of pounds over the seven events run.
The Pier relay has regularly attracted more than 150 of our members to raise funds through individual sponsorship from family and friends, with teams taking turns to run around the pier continuously ove 24 hours.
